Another option would be the stability ball, which is similar to the vacuum exercise, except that it does not involve any motion that could aggravate the back.

In addition, it is essential that pregnant women receive proper massage. As you know, the back is a major area where the fetus will be developing, and it is vital that this area receives proper care. Moms and dads alike should have their backs massaged regularly, and regular massages will help the muscles to heal themselves.
